I think most of them have Facebook pages or the like where you can find that kind of info. Alternatively, you can grab a pamphlet from one of the campaigners :P

Also voting finished today (Thursday) so you should be all good for tomorrow! ;)
sounds good, I ended up not going to uni that much this week due some units having not pracs only for this week.

------

For interest sake, did anyone vote in the election and why did you vote for that particular party? (if you are comfortable disclosing this information)

EDIT: Also if you didn't vote why didn't you?

Oh how I love being a Peninsula student ❤️ no people = no campaigners/activists

Real talk though - how annoying is having the mid semester break after week 9?! I'm so cooked, I need a break

I have a friend going for a position and I voted [1] below the line for them.

(When they had someone running) I voted [1] for grasssroots (ironically I didn't run into any of their campaigners), because I was aware of their involvement in the effort to create a conscientious objection policy and that environmental protection is one of their major priorities from other sources (such as the vegan society).

Some lecturers still presenting lectures from 5 past to :55 resulting in a portion of the lecture getting cutoff by the recording  :(

Just curious, is sending an entire unit cohort a list of marks with student numbers attached to said marks via moodle message actually allowed? I feel like it isn't, but my lecturer/unit coordinator does it anyways :/

don't think so!

At least it wasn't like some eng units  this semester where a coordinator released all the marks with the full names too. (although it was only the grade (HD, D etc)and not the actual score)

Glad I'm not the only one that thinks so haha :)

That would be nightmare inducing! :o
It's also a worry with my cohort, considering there's 60-something of us in this unit and we know a couple of other student numbers due to the sheer amount of other group assignments that require our student numbers in them aha :')

This happened to me once, and I was pretty filthy. Not sure about whether or not it's actually allowed, though.

It's finally midsem break (yay)!

Can't believe there's only 3 weeks of semester left. This semester has gone super quick and has definitely been the most enjoyable so far. How's the semester been for everyone else so far?

This is the first time I've come into a midsem break mostly up to date! I think there's like 2 lectures I have to write notes for and that's it. I'm aiming to get some revision of the first 9 weeks done this week - will that actually happen? Who knows

Honestly think this is the most far-behind notes-wise I have ever been at uni, however I guess the insane increase of assessments and lab work I've had makes up for it :')
That being said, only 3 of my units have content, and the fourth is screwing me over rn with reports and quizzes based on basically thin air because we've never ever covered anything to do with the "assessed topics" because we've had no lectures or classes for it. -cries-

So glad for midsem break though <3

Still need to watch a few lectures - today we basically finished a huge run of assessments so will try to take a bit of a break before I start doing anything for week 10 onwards. Although I have got a 15% MST the 2nd day back.

The feeling when 3/4 of the units you’re doing refuse to provide you with past exams

Probs recycle them for future years. I found a lot of my lecturers did that - with little to no changes.
