Salary question

When converting salary from yearly to weekly, do we need to divide by 52.18 (the approximate but more accurate no. of weeks in a year) or is 52 fine? Especially in the HSC exam. Thanks

Integer values are always assumed in the HSC, so 52.

(They don't examine more precise values because if they did, "monthly" would become heaps harder to calculate. This is because the number of days in a month varies, so using 1/12th of a year = a month is always subject to some inaccuracy.)
