EBSS (elizabeth blackburn sciences) admission 2020?

Hellllooooo,
I'm interested in applying for EBSS for year 11 (2020). I just want to ask how did y'all study for it? Im pretty sure the exams are in July?? so i have around 4 months to study for it  :-[. I did the macrob exams in 2017 and didnt get it :( so i really wannt to get in for EBSS. ALso do you guys recommend any tutor that will 'help' you get in EBSS?

Does anyone have any tips on how to study? etc. reading notes/writing it down??  I have no idea how to study for it and what i should do :(((

Hi, the tips that I recommend are having a good grasp of all the topics listed in the mathematics of the thread. For Reading Comprehension you can buy practice test books and for Verbal reasoning, practice test books were also helpful when studying for the exam. If not a tutor like JAC might help out as they just make you do practice tests every week around english and mathematics. But, they won't teach you that much content. If you have anymore queries about EBSS please feel free to message me as I am a current year 12 and the creator of the previous thread :)

Hey all!
I just wanted some advice as to whether I should go to EBSS.
I am currently at JMSS and enjoying it here. It takes me 1hr 30min+ each way to get to JMSS and EBSS could cut that down to 1hr, but I've heard that JMSS is superior to EBSS, but due to EBSS being a subdivision of UHS, I cannot find any EBSS specific data. I am quite passionate about science, so either is great in that sense. Any advice would be appreciated!

Don’t fret! As long as you did your best that’s all that matters.

I finished everything except for maths... Maths was tragic 😅

It's ok!! I didn't finish the tests either (neither did my friends or the other people i talked to). I also repeated myself during the essay hahah
