Hellooo
So I have just finished my Legal Studies VCAA exam, however, my black pen ran out of ink a little bit when I was about halfway so my writing was not as dark or thick as it originally was... I am just wondering will this affect my study score considering VCAA scans exams?
Thanks!!
Hey, as brought forth above, some exams are not scanned. Legal studies is one of the exams that is not put through a scanner. You can see this by the lack of black strip down the center edges of the paper, as opposed to psychology, which is scanned and has a black band present throughout the work booklet.
As long as the ink left was still legible, you should be OK.
I've been writing all my exams (chem and methods) in pencil... VCAA are obliged to read it and still receive the hard copy. Hopefully anyways. Can someone verify this?
This is a concern. You are told explicitly by examiners to use blue or black pen when answering questions on all exams. If that's uncomfortable for you, do the unmarked working in pencil and change to pen for your final answer.
In most examinations, VCAA examiners have about 30 seconds per question (average throughout the exam) to mark you correct or incorrect. In that time, if your writing is barely legible, they may not be able to mark it at all.
