I just want to ask, how do I find the focus of the equation, 8x^2+9y-72=0 ? I know the vertex is 0,8 but I don't know what to do next.

If it is -4ay, you subtract 'a' from the vertex y-value.
If it is 4ay, you add 'a' to the vertex y-value.
