Hey!
Could someone help me with a technique for this quote from Richard III:

"Princes have but titles for their glories..."

thanks! :)
I'm sure the interesting syntax allows for there to be a technique here but I'm not sure what it is...
HSC 2017: Advanced English [85] General Maths [92] Biology [96] Geography [92] Drama [86]

2018: Bachelor of Arts and Advanced Studies at University of Sydney

-- need a tutor for any of the subjects listed above?? I reckon I'm the girl! Just message me on ATAR notes or here--

I can't really see much in here - can you use it without a technique? If you need a technique, maybe tone?

okay, thanks!

Not really something i see that is involving a technique. It looks more like a quote you would insert when describing a character who is essential to whatever point you're trying to argue.
Whats the context?
"Live life like a pineapple. Stand tall, wear a crown and be sweet on the inside"

"May you grow up to be righteous; may you grow up to be true. May you always know the truth and see the lights surrounding you. May you always be courageous, stand upright and be strong"

"Be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire"

Hmm, not sure if there is a technique in the quote. I was gonna say 'rule of three' but I'm not entirely sure what the context is. Is there another part of the text that uses this pattern? If so, it could be a triad motif.

hey I was wondering if someone could help me with thesis ideas for this essay question:

Explore how the change in context from 1920s Germany to Post WW2 Britain/Europe has both Lang and Orwell’s depictions of Power and Control

im kinda stuck and don't know where to start

thank you

Hey! Is there a word missing from that question? Doesn't quite read correctly! Either way, I think understanding the requirements of the Module should be your first step. This guide might help! :)

High modality could work depending on context! I'd go with:

a) Loaded word choice, my default technique for any quote
b) A different quote - Once you start reaching for techniques, chances are there is a better example in the text ;D

Yeah, this thread is just about answering questions!
In terms of getting a full essay marked...that's done over at the "HSC marking and feedback" space, which you can find Here!  :)

Weird! Thought there should have been an 'affected' or something similar before the authors :)
