Hoping for a 35+ in Business Management!
I completely flunked out on the exam so I don't expect anything above a 40 rip.

Hoping for...

Methods: 40+
Checked answer for exam 1, got probably 35/40
was too scared to check exam 2, but definitely messed up
Very concerned. Probably will redo methods next year tho.

Bio (I literally don't give a damn at this point): ~35
Biology is my throwaway subject anyways so I'll be happy with whatever I get.

Good luck guys

2018
Further: 44

2019
English: 39 (I think I did alright but obviously not my best)

Methods: 35 (Butchered exam 2)

Spesh: 30 (If I thought methods exam 2 was bad wait until you see my performance in spesh exam 2 - for reference I got 4/20 in the MCQ)

Biology: 39 (not bad but considering everyone else thought is was easy I don’t think I scored highly compared to the rest of the state)

Chem: 40 (personally my best exam and I thought it was pretty good bar the experimental design)

ATAR: 95.40 (I’d be happy with anything over 95 but then again I would have loved a 98+)

2019 - English [45] | Spesh [hahaha] | Methods [40] | Chem [41] | Bio [40]

Cooked a few exams, overall

English - ~37

Methods - ~33

Psychology - ~37

Economics - ~40

ATAR - ~94??

Holy shit.

English:
GA 1 - A+
GA 2 - A+
GA 3 - B+
SS - 39

Bit over what I predicted, still a bit disappointed about my exam performance though

Methods:
GA 1 - B
GA 2 - B
GA 3 - B+
SS - 33

Exactly what I predicted ahaha

Psychology:
GA 1 - A+
GA 2 - A+
GA 3 - A+
SS - 44

Pretty goddamn happy with this considering how I went on the exam. Was always aiming for high 40s but ah well very happy

Economics:
GA 1 - A+
GA 2 - A+
GA 3 - A+
SS - 48

Oh boy. Guess I did pretty well on the exam, highly underestimated what I was gonna get.

ATAR - 97.5. Don't exactly think this is gonna change my preferences but pretty stoked

2018:
Biology - 35

2019:
English - 37 // 35 (wow wasnt expecting that at all. Thought I'd at least get 37)
Further Maths - 38 // 40 (Very unexpected. I'm so happy!)
Environmental Science - 37 // 43 (EXTREMELY unexpected. I thought I did bad in the exam.)
Methods - 32 // 31 (.. I expected low 30s.)
Chemistry - 28 // 30 (I'm relieved it's in the 30s! Was really scared about my exam performance.)

ATAR Prediction: 86

ACTUAL ATAR: 89.65  (I am SOO happy! I never dreamed of getting 89! I thought I'd be super lucky to get 85.)

My predictions are based on the worst case scenario. Hopefully I get higher, but at the end of the day, I only need an 85 ATAR, so I'd still be happy with this.

Overall, I am SO happy!

Congrats! That's a great score. 💙

Congratulations!!! That is huge. Well done.

Hey all, just letting you know that if you didn't reach your predictions or feel disappointed with your results, it's perfectly fine to process that as grief and it's not mandatory to share that if you don't want to here. Whatever the case, ATAR Notes tends to blow scores out of proportion - there are a lot of high-achievers here - so if you don't feel like you did well enough because you didn't get a 40 in something, remind yourself that the work is over and you did the best you could. The amount of effort and time you put in cannot be quantified by a final number, and you're worth a lot more than that.

If you're upset and have no one to talk to, please contact moderators or admins. We're here to support you whether you're elated or disappointed. 💙🌻

English: Predicted 42, got 46. Dunno what happened there.
Economics: Predicted 39, got 44. Kind of happy, given that my school's Economics is kinda bad :P
Methods: Predicted 36, got 36. In my bottom 2 along with Spesh, which I kinda expected all along lol.
Specialist: Predicted 30, got 29.
Chemistry: Predicted 36, got 41. I dunno either why I got so high, lowkey feeling like it's an error.

I'm very happy, but ultimately it's not going to change any prefs. My parents made a big deal out of it too, which is kinda annoying lol

I don't really go on here anymore. Feel free to DM though

I have no idea about the UCAT percentile required to get an interview/accepted into medicine. Mine was the first year that they used the UCAT. Just try and maximise your ATAR and take care of yourself.

For biology, I honestly don't know how I went, so my range is 36-44, I know it is large but I have no clue.

However, it may be 38.

It was 38, so I was pretty dead on my prediction.
