Today, I had one of my mini breakdowns. In 13 more days, I will finish my last exam which is physics. Today, I’ve just been thinking about the all the different people who have been helping and supporting me throughout VCE and that after this year there are going to be lots of people that I won’t be able to keep in contact with. I’m feeling pretty depressed that it’s ending so quickly and I wish that I could go back and make a couple more fond memories.
I think a lot of people go through this when they're sitting their final exams! I went through at least a solid term, if not more, of being super sad about high school ending last year haha.
If you want to keep in contact with people though, it's really worth the effort. You might not be able to see each other that often, but it doesn't have to break your bond.
And seriously, some people you'll find you were only friends with because you saw each other 5 days a week. It's really interesting to see how friendship group dynamics change with the transition into uni and other endeavours.
It's said that year 12 is ending, but there are so many exciting times ahead of you
You'll always have the memories to look back on, and in these last 2 weeks, you can try to make as many memories as possible! High school really is just the end of the beginning.
