ive seen a lot of talk about all the camps the are going
lets say i could only be bothered going on one for the purposes of meeting ppl who i might be sharing a subject with, then should i even bother going at all? Does O-week already have that socialising aspect covered?

I think it's worth going. After the first week or so of class, talking to new people is actually pretty difficult. You may as well get as many familiar faces while you can.

I was going 2, but circumstances arose and I never went.

I went 2 the mid-year orientation activities they had on tho... I asked to be allowed 2g2 mid-year orientation coz I wanted 2 make new friends.
They were a good way of getting 2 meet a whole bunch of ppl - even if u don't g2 a camp I recommend seizing as many opportunities 2 meet ppl as u can @ orientation.

Let me jst say tho: AUSTRALIANS DO NOT USE THE WORD 'JUMBUCK' FOR SHEEP*... I didn't even no wtf a jumbuck was until that crazy old lady's little 'Australia' lesson ??? ::)

*Except when singing Australian songs quite loudly and possibly while intoxicated on Australia Day, and possibly while wearing an Australian flag as a cape. Just saying.

Depends on your drinking habits.

If you don't drink like a fish ... don't go. :P
