This is quite late but the test was way harder than I thought...
I didn't do very well on the first science test and numerical reasoning :( but its whatever, how did you all go?

I just read the email and apparently
Students will need to allow an hour and ten minutes for the online process, which will include a written task and a panel interview.
Any idea on what the written task might be on?

I’m at 11:45 :) and I have no clue the idea is stressing me out. I honestly don’t even know how I got an interview.

Hey man I got an interview too! mines on 6th aug 1.30 pm. good luck!
I think the interview will consist of a 1 on 1 with a teacher and the written task would test your logic/thinking, based on the one i did last year (not online), which was some maths questions

Mine is on the 6th of August too at 11:45 tho. I am so confused on the structure of the interview and what the written component is tho. Also what certificates and anything like that are people sending in. And does anyone have any tips for the interviews??

I thought that the quiz and group activity were for year 10 entry students only? I doubt we will have a maths quiz for a writing task

Interviews were in early august, mine was on the second and offers for a spot in year 11 2021 there just came out. There is a week to accept and then if you dont those on the waiting list get offers but ye emails to everyone will go out in probably a few weeks if you didnt get in otherwise congrats to those who got their email today and got in

You dont get your score unless you request it when they send an email and then they are released in term 4.

I'm already at JMSS.
A lot of people catch public transport, especially the Dandenong line trains, Glen Waverley and Ferntree Gully buses. A handful are driven to school (this is based on what I've seen BEFORE COVID)

Yeah I’m gonna catch public transport too. I think from where I live it’s easiest to transit from Blackburn station and then take a bus straight to Monash uni. How is online learning in JMSS like? I’m really curious in how your school days structured if you don’t mind telling me ;D

Hey guys im a new yr 11 next yr, however, am really concerned about catching up on mathematic-a. Like many other schools we don't actually rely on the software at all so could you maybe give me an insight into what and how it is actually used. thank you :)

Starts at 8:40am, except every second Friday where they mark the roll at 8:30am so assembly can start at 8:40am on the dot

Whoops I haven't been on this forum for a while sorry. I hope the teacher you got helped you out a bit and if you need help, the mathematical stuff is at the bottom of all the maths SUPs or you can PM me on insta

hey i just wanted to know what tutors you went to? because ive heard jmss yr 11 entry is hard and applying the conetent to the actual exam is hard without a tutor.

My bad I haven't been on this site in a while
I didn't get tutored for jmss so dont worry it is definitely possible to get in w/out a tutor, tbh tutors are kinda overrated if you're already keeping up with your schoolwork (or going ahead).
