Could someone tell me what the point of overloading is in University?

I plan on studying abroad next semester, but to complete the 2nd year level pre-requisites for my major, I need to undertake 7 core subjects (3 for med, 4 for my major).

If I am doing half of it overseas and the subjects do not count, then I only have 4 subjects next year. 5 if I overload, and maybe a summer subject before I leave, and a summer subject when I come back, and I've satisfied my 7 pre-requisites.

Why are you choosing to go overseas and not credit subjects to your degree? Or is that not what you're saying...

Monash's Engineering Excellence doesn't cover fees. It's 6k a year for 4 years (75 WAM minimum each semester).

Anyone here know of any good spaces that you can eat and study at? Especially in the evening, after classes.

2nd floor law building. Quiet and comfortable atmosphere. Although the law library on the 3rd lvl is silent study only.

I love chilling in Rowden White. I would study in Union House but they close most of the seating by 6, which is the time I am trying to find  a place to study :/
Yes I spend my entire day in uni and only go home back in suburb-land at night.

It closes earlier. I think it's open until 5 or 6.

Finishing an assignment<-- best feeling in the world (especially when you finish 2 days earlier than you anticipated)!
2012-2014. BSc: Neuroscience. University of Melbourne.
2015-2018. Doctor of Optometry. University of Melbourne.

Unlikely to respond to any PMs these days.
