I found a bunch of anatomy and physiology papers to study from. I don't think any of them were from the new subjects, most of them were several years old but it's all the same stuff

Hi everyone, hope your exam study is going well!

I was wondering if anyone had any past exams for second year physiology or anatomy they could put up?  I've found the HSF exam from last year, however that's the only one I could see.

Or in the case that I'm just dense and they are online, any search pointers would be much appreciated!

In preparation for my Anatomy and Physiology exams last semester. I went to the Library homepage and clicked on Past exam papers. I simply typed in Anatomy in the search box. It should come up with anatomy papers from quite a while back. There is also alot of them. You simply just need to select the relevant questions. Most of them are definitely relevant and really helped me in preparation for the exam. Hope this helps!

Thanks, I'll take a look at the older ones.  I did find those, but Briggs mentioned in our last lecture that the we should have access to the exams for Principles of Human Structure, so I thought they might be floating around as well.

He is a liar LOL. Briggs said last semester that there are no past papers for Principle of Human Structure. Thus, I had to resort to those papers and HSF  papers.

Oh okay, that's a shame.  I can't get mad at Briggs though, not with that accent!  I notice you said HSF papers, were you able to find more than the 2010 one?

I believe the only HSF i practiced from was the 2010 one. The Principle of Human Structure exam last semester was basically alot of questions which were stolen from that paper (which is what I believe enabled me to get a H1 LOL). I don't think Briggs would be stupid enough to copy questions from last years papers for you guys. Good luck mate!

Yeh unfortunately they don't release any papers for anatomy because they recycle the questions every year. Last semester (Locomotor) the instructions on the front cover allowed us to remove the question booklet from the hall. But they found out it was a mistake at the very last moment and some students managed to leave with the paper. I was one of the unlucky ones who got the paper taken off but I think there are some papers out there :P

For the second year exam, the multi choice section will be 'Quiz 3' and will examine the remaining lectures. Short answer questions are usually the prac images and you fill in the blanks with a word from the list.

Thanks for your advice everyone!  Yes, in flicking through some of the other exams I have seen some diagrams that were in our MSTs pop up, so I'll definitely take a look at the other exams too.  I guess the number of things you can ask about anatomy is a bit limited...

Ah right, yeah I think I found that too on the library site; I think it's called integrated human structure and function? Ah well, content should be similar right?

YES. What kind of a moron decides it would be fine to put pictures of fossils which were only shown once, on the day of the relevant lecture, what about those who weren't there? And even to those who were, were they meant to take a damn sketch?

Other than that awful section, I think most of the other questions were fair, I probably lost more marks in Jones' sections than anywhere else.

I had Micro a hour later, I think I had a minor frameshift mutation in my MCQ's..

I WASN'T ACTUALLY THERE...BECAUSE MY DAD DIED SORRY THERESA CAN'T BE THERE TO SEE THE FOSSILS HAD TO GO TO HIS FUNERAL.  Fuck you bitch.
And the Sec D question was literally the only thing I didn't have time to revise, hence lost marks for not remembering the reason that wasn't homeobox genes, triploblastic thingie and increase in O2...think it was breaking up of land masses or something.  And then I forgot what was 'remarkable' about Eucidarian fauna because I had a mental blank and thought it was asking me about Cambrian fossils and I was like '...nothing?'.  ARGHGHGHGHGH.

Everyone else's sections were FINE.

PS: spiral shell is ammonite.
the other thingie was a trilobite I think, the one that looks like a thumb nail with ridges.
And then omg the first fossil, was that that stupid bird dinosaur?  I wasn't there for that lecture either >: my Psych lab clashed with Biol on a Wednesday every second week EDIT: FOUND IT http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/9/9d/Archaeopteryx_lithographica_%28Berlin_specimen%29.jpg/220px-Archaeopteryx_lithographica_%28Berlin_specimen%29.jpg I steal my photos from wikipedia too, WHY THE HELL ARE THEY NOT ON THE SLIDES IF YOU JUST STOLE THEM OFF THE INTERNET YOURSELF.
And then the stupid STICK THING - was that Hallucinowhatsit?  And then the thing with the digits, I couldn't remember if that was meant to be Ithchystajuruedfhdh or Aterosegasuaurdfd.

No wait I thought of something else - Rick's Section C question, he never referred to diatomecious earth as celite?  I didn't know that's what it was referring to...
