Omg I am the biggest stresshead right now.
Okay so, I need to get my exchange academic reference sorted 'in the field in which I will undertake my study'. Too bad that field is Biology and there are like 685939 people in my lectures. I would get my tutor to write it, but she is an academic 'nobody' in terms of title, she is just a student. I would get a Psych lecturer that actually knows me to write it, but I'm not taking Psych subjects overseas (or planning on doing so anyway).
So, I am unsure of who I should ask. Because I'm applying Ivy League, it needs to be somebody as highly regarded as possible because of the misconception that I walk around knowing a whole lot of Associate Professors by name.
When I finished last semester Biology they sent me that stupid letter being like 'congratz on your results, if you ever need an academic reference, just ask'. Does this mean I email the Biology Office and ask them to organise the reference for me? Or that I can email pretty much anyone who lectured Biology last semester and beg them for a reference? But then there's the problem with that being totally impersonal because they don't actually know who I am.
SOMEONE HELP ME SOLVE THIS PROBLEM, WHAT DO YOU THINK I SHOULD DO?
