I'm not a WACE student but in any writing response I do, I still make a plan. This helps me structure out my writing and helps me makes sure that I don't forget any ideas I had when I first read the question midway through my writing frenzy. Its generally just a 5 second list I scribble down of the topics and the links to the question. I find that its easier for me to structure my ideas and helps my writing flow better

Hope this helps :)
