MHS Subject selection

Anyone know how the Melbourne High subject selection works? I'm in Year 10 and everyone says different things. I'm 100% doing a LOTE 3/4 outside of school next year in year 11. Am I still allowed to do another 3/4 inside of school for year 11?

they should let you do it but you'll still have to do five subjects in year 12 (7 subjects total)
