Title: UNSW O-Week Meetup 2019!

Who: Everyone! Even if you're not attending UNSW!
Where: Bottom of the main walkway! (see picture)
When: Meetup will be at 12pm on Tuesday the 12th.

If you're catching the 891 (UNSW express) bus... two possible ways of getting there

If you don't feel like getting the 891 bus, read this amazing guide by Bea for alternatives (really helpful!)

Things we should be doing:
- Free stuff
- Free food
- View societies
- Timetable tours.
- Talk
- Banter

Availability edit: On Monday, I’m doing something for Student Life & Communities starting at 12 and I would be happy to meet earlier — the earliest I would get to uni would be just before 11!

Post by: Opengangs on February 05, 2019, 02:24:06 pm: I can't do Tuesday 10 AM - 1 PM due to peer mentoring training, Wednesday 3 PM onwards or Thursday 3 PM onwards due to work. Not sure about society stuff yet though.

I mean you guys are invited to the event if you wanna but I doubt many of you are interested in an integration bee...

Happy to offer some timetable tours for the first years when I arrive :D

(12pm so we can have people join as not too late after it's started :) )

End time will be whenever you get bored / want to go home / do something else by yourself

Also, does anyone know if the construction is done at UNSW? Whenever I get off near the medicine building, I get so lost lmao (I miss those days when the bus used to drop us off at Anzac Parade and right in front of the University Mall entrance).

It’ll be a miracle if the construction were already done. Pretty sure that the light rail construction is still going on. Though when you take the bus (not the 891) it will stop by UNSW New College which is just a short walk from the main walkway :)
