Harmonic Question

Heres just another sound question relating to the fundamental frequency and overtones.
Say you have a guitar sting which when plucked vibrates at its own natural frequencies, the fundamental produced is the lowest occurring frequency, and you have numerous overtones... right?
If you were to press the 12th fret, so having the length of the string, does the fundamental become the same frequency of first overtone of when you didn't have the 12th fret pressed down, or is it still referred to as the first harmonic?
Also, because the 12th fret is pressed, can the original fundamental frequency still occur?
