JMSS Year 11 Entry 2019

Hey ATARNotes!

I'm currently a year 10 student and I am aiming to get into JMSS. I have not done any tutoring, but I have heard that it isn't needed, so finger's crossed! I've also been snooping around in forums and managed to get the following information:

• Around 200 people apply, 50% pass the exam and usually only 20 get accepted ;-;
  There's a maths reasoning, 2 science reasoning tests and 1 scientific essay. One of them is a prac report discussion and another is a scientific essay where they give u info and u write your point.
  My friend got into the school with no superiors and one below average lol so idk if I should be as stressed as I am rn.
  So basically I wanted to know some things, and I wanted to create this post to help others and maybe make some jmss friends
  How long do we get for each test/essay? I've heard its 30mins for each but I'm not sure.
  What do we need to study? For now I'm studying my yr9 and yr10 science and maths textbooks like crazy lol
