Hi all,

Is there an overlap with Physics and chemistry with the new syllabus? I heard that in Module 8 in the physics syllabus, there is some overlap with chemistry.

Cheers

Hey Jimbo!
Some topics there are some slight overlaps. There is a pretty big overlap with thermodynamics in physics with enthalpy changes in chemistry (module 4), laws of conservation and so on. You can find that some terms and concepts learnt in chemistry will be mentioned in physics, and can possible be applied similarly. The connection isn't too significant, not doing one of these subjects won't change the way you learn the other.
Hope this helps a little bit :)
