I think it was pretty straight forward, wasn't hard.
Sooooooooooooooooo glad it's over, never have to open a psych book again!! yay :D
-
I thought that the multiple choice section was great and covered the full range of the course. The short answer section was awful though. It focused on very specific areas, and required a lot of detail that I felt I really didn't know. I'm sure I'll still get a decent mark, but it's very disappointing to know that I had so much knowledge to offer and no opportunities to reveal it. What a bad way to end a great year of psych :(

I thought it was a good exam, although challenging. I'm glad that it was like that because it separates those students who studied their butt off and those who only studied in the few days leading up to it.
There is a larger discussion going on BOS. Which thread should be used lol?

I think i may have stuffed up the qn about the mother wanting to teach her daughter to cook, i covered the 5 elements but i didnt really mention them, if that makes sense.
-
There are only four elements of observational learning...
Attention
Retention
Reproduction
Motivation reinforcement

lol that exam was soooooo easy, even i could answer everything, and i didnt study at all.

Yeah them lol .. sorry my bad wasn't thinking straight lol
Would I lose marks for not identifying them?
-
Likely yes.
-
Some texts separate motivation and reinforcement into different elements; thus making it 5 different elements; that's why I thought it was 5 marks anyways.
-
really ? tahts strange :S...
If you didnt name them then theyre pracically the same point
I just threw in a commment about rewarding her daughter for incentive, and hoped thatd be the 5th mark
or maybe the way you linked them togetehr gets you the 5th
or MAYBE its if you apply it to the question, rather than just listing and describing the 4 points
-
Who knows lol. Alot of marks for one question though. It'd suck if you didn't know anything about observational learning.
-
I actually loved the short answer, but I think a few multiple choice got me. I don't want to predict how I went, it's torture doing that (as I learned at mid-years).

....damn. i said 'attention, motivation, reproduction, and motivation reproduction' im fairly sure my txtbook didnt use retention as one :S
-
thats wierd... what text book did you ues?>
-
Why did nobody invite the BoS people over?! :( For shame.

YES!! i totally agree.. i thought i knew all the major dot points really well, and they focussed on really small things i thought were irrelevent.. grrr, i dunno how i went, i got A+ at mid year, but was dissapointed with it this time round.. i hope it didnt stuff up my 40+
