Title: 2018 AFL Brownlow Medal
Post by: Joseph41 on May 15, 2018, 02:46:33 pm
Who's your bet at the moment?

Fyfe, Martin, Mitchell, Dangerfield - all would have to be up there at the moment. Other players like Macrae are big smokeys.

From the Dees, Gawn and Oliver are our best bets, but can't see either doing too much damage tbh. Although I'd love to be wrong haha. ;)

Agree with you J41 about those four. By far and above the best in the game.

I reckon Trent Cotchin isn't a bad bet either atm. He's had more best on ground performances than Dustin Martin so far, and he's fifth in the coaches association votes. Also really helps that he's playing for the most dominant side in the AFL.

Max Gawn isn't a bad bet either tbh. There's so much of a gap between those two and the rest of Melbourne, so if they find some form and start winning more games, then Gawn is actually a reasonable dark horse.

EDIT: Nat Fyfe has been by far and above the best in the comp this year though, but he won't win it bc Fremantle lol

Fyfe ruled ineligible, but challenging.
