I think I saw a post or an ad on Facebook about the lectures last year and went to Jamon, Elyse and Jake’s lectures. I went on the website when I got home because Brenden’s talks before each lecture were really convincing :p

I'm very intrigued! What made it so convincing? What did he say?

Everything Brenden says is convincing. He could sell ice to an eskimo.

Was probably his tone.

Like, it's Brenden's fucking tone. He just fucking has it.

A combination of the AN Calc, AN being included in a list of "useful resources", and the lectures.
I started fiddling with marks in various ATAR calculators, AN being one of them. Didn't make an account then. :3
After seeing it included in the list, the first thing I did was look at some subject guides and make an account to download some notes :P
Fast-forward 2 months later, I attended the Trial lectures (English, Maths 3U and Chem). I started becoming active on the forums and here I am!  ;D

Life is weird and crazy as heck but what can you do?

- i was looking for notes (can't remember which subject) and bos was getting annoying so AN popped up hahaha - this was in march this year.
- never really looked at the forums, just downloaded notes. i used to have a folder dedicated to each subject full of notes from here
- went to the pre-trials lectures in july and on a whim the night after the last lecture i went to, decided to hop onto the forums!
- it's been almost half a year since that night and i don't think i'll be leaving the forums any time soon. AN is such a great community, and i'm so happy to be a part of it ❤️

I went to a lecture that was run through the Kwong Lee Dow Young Scholars program (so nothing to do with AN) and the lecturer spoke highly of the forums.

I first knew that they existed from going to a bio AN revision lecture but that didn't convince me to start posting.

First found out about it in Year 9 or 10 while looking for VCE tips (I know, I was a keen bean back then). Looked through different forums as a guest then later on made an account mid Year 10. I lurked for over a year until I made my first post in late 2016 to help someone out with their Methods question ;D

That makes three of us!

Honestly, I actually have no memory of how I really found AN. I think it might have been searching around in year 10 for VCE resources, but not too sure.

How great is it to have you all here! I've loved reading through this!

I'm surprised the free notes wasn't the main pull for most people! But not at all surprised that the lectures are how you heard about us :)
