Psych Textbooks

I was wondering what Psychology Textbook are you using currently to study for mid year exams.

I'm using the Grivas, and Down Textbook (3rd Edition)
Its pretty good  What about everyone else?

At school, we use Nelson Psychology. It's okay...the definitions often get wordy and complicated. We also use the Nelson Psychology Activity Book.

At home, I have a copy of the Grivas book from the old study design (2nd edition). I've only been using it for visual perception, and it seems to follow the current study design very closely, so there mustn't be many differences (at least in this area of study, anyway). I prefer the Grivas.

To study for mid-year exams, I also use Psych Notes, and notes written in class.

The Grivas textbook is fabulous..much better definitions and more detailed explanations than the Nelson one my school uses. I really don't like the Nelson Activity Book much..it just doesn't suit the way I learn, so I never do the stuff my teacher sets from it! I have also been keeping my own set of notes for each dot point, so I'm using those plus things like NEAP, PsychNotes, A+ and Checkpoints to revise. But 4 weeks isn't a great deal of time to get ready when I've got 3 midyears (2 VCE, 1 uni) coming up *screams*!

Im using a similar process except i started revising a month ago.
