PPE/Law, Comm/Law, life at ANU?

I'm currently a first year commerce student at Melb Uni, and I haven't been 100% happy with the way uni life has been going. Firstly, I've found that it's been rather cliquey, where most high school friends stay together as opposed to making friends with other people.. I also want to experience dorm life, and while college is an option, I don't see it as a point as I already live in Melbourne.

I graduated in 2015 and achieved an ATAR of 98+, so I was wondering about applying to ANU's law program. I was initially thinking of comm/law at Monash, but was rather hesitant on law school. Questions
1) How is the law program at ANU?
2) How is the commerce program at ANU?
3) Is anyone doing PPE? For the economics component, does it get rather quite mathsey (e.g venturing out to econometrics etc), and is there anyone doing PPE/Law? If so, how is the work load? Is it doable?
4) How is the student life at ANU? I do want a smaller university community, but at the same time I'm not 100% keen on moving to Canberra where there isn't a lot to do?

Thanks!
