can someone plz tell me how to work this out.

1/30 + 1/v = 1/10


the original equation = 1/u + 1/v = 1/f

You can then flip both sides, so v=15

You can't flip over every part at the start because the left hand side isn't one fraction like that, if that helps. Sorry for writing out every step, I don't intend to make you look silly but sometimes when I do steps in my head people wonder where I went.
