hey, I'm a pretty quiet reserved person and I was just wondering what are the good places to stay while at monash. I pretty much would like to avoid the all night parties every night of the year etc. Any help would be appreciated.

Which campus?

Making the assumption of Clayton, you'd want to be in the South East Flats for quietness...all the halls are bloody party halls (doesn't mean you can't live there and simply choose not to go to those parties, though!)

Rusden I would think is quiet too and, to a degree, Rusden.

BA22 lives at MRS, though, so he could give you a more accurate representation (my information is second-hand).

Thanks, it's just really hard deciding which hall despite open days and all those glossy brochures...
