What are your opinions of the exam?

Personally, I found it alright. However some questions were hard to understand.

I found that the questions were very reasonable, but it was very long. I had to guess 1/2 the MC because I ran out of time :(

Straightforward-ish except for a few questions. Pretty much the same as the last 2 years (and lol at decreased weighting of detailed study from 26 to 24 marks)
2009
~ Methods (Non-CAS) [48 --> 49.4]

2010
~ Spesh [50 --> 51.6]
~ Physics [50 --> 50]
~ Chem [43 --> 46.5]
~ English [46 --> 46.2]
~ UMEP Maths [5.0]

2010 ATAR: 99.90
Aggregate 206.8

It wasn't hard but it wasn't easy either. The multiple choice for photonics I didn't get any A answers. The rest of the students in my class didn't get any A's either except for a few

Oh Yeah I thought that question was pretty hard as well, I also found questions in the light and matter section to be pretty long. Anyone else?

question in the light and matter where long, but not really that hard. The first one was just yong's experiment and the second one was just stating how phototonics helps the particle model.

I thought question 10 in the light and matter was hard.

Q10 in AOS2 should be easy. But it just would not work for me :( I wrote down the method anyway.

Everyone says it was long... I thought the mid year was long. I finished the mid year with about 5-10 min spare, today's exam I had a good 20-30 mins spare.

I did the MCQs first... found sound stupidly easy this year. Only question was the distance-from-source change question. I discovered a log button on my sci calc :)
