Winter gems :

-Falling asleep at night cuddled up in a warm swarm of blankets with the sound of rain pounding heavily outside (making for the perfect relaxing backdrop)
-Holding onto a warm drink that also functions as a hand warmer on a cold day
-When a friend offers to let you go under their umbrella so that you don't get wet in the rain

I first got my Kindle when travelling overseas because it would be more convenient than carrying several paper books. Then when I got back I realised it was also more convenient when travelling on the train (no more need to remember to get a change of book when I'm near the end of the one I'm reading).

And now far too many of my paper books lie sadly unread
