(Any more NSW mods? ;D)

Congratulations all! With the forums going absolutely mental lately (which I'm sure will only increase towards the HSC), we could use all the help we can get.

Wait so if we apply for a moderator position, anyone can get it?

Not everybody who applies will be granted a position, if that's what you're asking.

Then how come some HSC 2016 students got it? (other than that they applied)

They contributed positively to the development of the HSC (and even VCE) boards through awesome posts which helped both themselves and other HSC students. They brighten up the atmosphere on the boards :P

Lol I love how you can just say things like this! The air of authority, I made them a mod because I wanted to and noone else can change my decision!

In all seriousness though, our new mods put in seriously good applications/have made excellent contributions to the blog. There's not one of them who hasn't well and truly earned their position and not one we don't expect to make a fucking awesome mod.

Congrats guys!

How do we become a moderator?

We do rounds of applications for moderators once per year (usually), and we pick based on the people who are really active, cool members of the community, who enjoy helping others and have shown a passion to help people on our site ;D
