Revision Lectures Help

Hi! I'm doing 3/4 psychology this year and was looking at revision lectures for the upcoming exam. There's one for one company scheduled for the 4th of October, which is a 9 hour session of revision spanning the entirety of units 3&4, and then one scheduled for the 31st of October, which has 8 hours of revision and 2 hours of exam tips. I was planning on getting a start on practice exams soon, so I was wondering if anyone had any advice on which date would be more beneficial. Would it be a better idea to do an intense revision lecture closer to the exam date, so that it's "fresher" in my brain, or earlier, so that I have the revision under my belt? I will definitely be doing my own revision regardless, but it would be nice to get some other perspectives :) thank you!
