Completing English Language independently?

My school has decided to cancel English Language classes as there weren't enough students, they offered me the chance to enter mainstream English or continue English Language on my own with a random teacher as a superviser and continue it as a proper 3/4 subject in Year 12.
Do you guys think I'll have enough 3rd party resources to teach myself?
I do enjoy the content of English Language much more than mainstream English  :-\

Hey Cofifi!

Choosing whether to self-study a subject really depends on your attitude to learning and level of motivation. If you were to complete it independently, you should get a good set of course notes, like these.
Does your school allow students to study VCE subjects externally? If so, you may want to consider doing English Language through Distance Education. By doing it through them, you will have a teacher to help you with your work and study of the subject.

Hope this helps you! :)
