I never overloaded or underloaded, so it's actually sort of difficult for me to conceptualise haha.
Here's the story to why I chose to overload.
My degree is a bit ****ed. They added in an extra course that every B Adv Sc and BSc (Adv Maths) student must do. For single degrees, this is okay, just that the course is very uninteresting.
For actuarial/maths, there's complications. This one little extra course means that I have to stay back for one extra semester
just to do one course. Gross.
Plan B was summer term, but UNSW Business School likes to rip us off. They charge us the full $4000 for a course if we do it in summer. And the maths department don't offer any second year or above courses in summer either.
So I didn't really have much of a choice. With trimesters coming to UNSW things might change a bit, but I had no clue they were going into trimesters last year.
Yet, as masochistic as this sounds, I think I might be overloading again...
