ACC1100 or ACC1200

Hi, I don't know which of these two units I should be doing for my commerce degree, though I heard ACC1100 is tailored towards accounting majors and ACC1200 is an easier alternative for non-accounting majors. Is this true?

That's exactly what the ACC1100 unit coordinator told us in the introductory email. I'm doing ACC1100 because I did VCE Accounting, and apparently subject matter is similar (although more difficult). Also, I'm probably going to major in Finance, so I think doing a hard Accounting subject (not hard as in difficulty, but as in practical and whatnot) would be more beneficial than doing a manager's accounting course that would be soft. I'm probably completely wrong though...
