Exams and removed content

So I've started looking at exams, since a fair bit of unit 4 has been removed timed exams have become a little redundant? Lets say I want to sit down with the 2017 exam and complete it in exam conditions. The reduced number of relevant questions would mean a shorter exam(s). Any advice? I'm planning on doing around 15 papers but the thought that none of them would be a true representation of exam conditions is a little demotivating. Thanks!

Hello.

You could change the amount of time required and suit it to the number of marks left (after taking out the irrelevant questions).
Since it's 15 mins reading: 120 marks and 2 hours 30 mins:120 marks, you can use the same ratio to apply it to the new number of marks and you can use that time duration to complete the test.

150 minutes for 120 marks
Therefore 1.25 minutes per mark
