prohibition from core unit?

If you complete a unit A in first year, and then in third year one your core units B lists unit A as a prohibited unit, what happens? Does it just become an elective slot?

Thanks

I'm not sure which faculty you're with, but the Faculty of Science information about prohibited units says that you are not allowed to enrol in prohibited units as you've explained, which most likely means that this unit cannot be taken to fulfill your course requirements.

Have you already enrolled in the unit that you're talking about? If so, I would suggest that you speak to your faculty student services to get more information.

Hope this helps :)
