yeah i don't think you're supposed to talk about anything apart from the information presented?
Like i didn't even say Mt Everest is the highest mountain in the world cos it wasn't in the information

Well I did last year and I got a 50 so I'm going to presume that it's alright.

fair enough then

I incorporated into the 2nd writing task how there's probably a rhino beetle out there that is lifting 850 times its weight right now whilst your just sitting on the couch and watching TV like a lazy prick

That sounds very crude, not sure if I would be impressed if I was your assessor.

I said "and their fans are pre-pubescent girls who would open their legs for them without a second thought". Your point is?

The likelihood that you're going to achieve a high mark for a very crude and distasteful piece of writing is quite low (I'm not saying yours is). This is just my opinion and the writing component was very important to me because I needed another 50 in at least one section of the GAT to benefit from the 6.5 aggregate points Monash University gives you towards your ATAR. Apparently my GAT from year 11 doesn't count.

Problem?

It's cute how you desperately want that 6.5 aggregate added, but why not ace your other subjects, get 1 point higher for each study score, and get the 6.5 that way? It's not crude to say that the assessor is "sitting on the couch and watching TV like a lazy prick" because it's true. My English teacher is a GAT assessor, I honestly don't think she's done anything commemorable with her life. On the other hand you have Mahmoud Chatilla who is being presented with an Order of Australia award for running from Melbourne to Sydney.

Care to tell us what 'commemorable' things that you've done with your life? If you haven't done any then don't talk..

In what world does Monash give you a bonus 6.5 aggregate points for getting a GAT score of X?

e, or am I really, really out of touch?

Also, tone it down, less angryposting please.

You've really come onto this forum on a high and mighty horse.

If I got a 50 for English last year, I should be able to get another 50 on the GAT without too much effort, in my opinion.

If you could get another 6.5 aggregate points that would go towards your ATAR with less effort than required to get another 6.5 aggregate study score points in 4 years, wouldn't you?

Use your brain, my friend. VCE is a competition and you should always try to maximise your ATAR (in my opinion).

I'm on a high and mighty horse? You're the one talking up your brilliant 50 for English in your GAT last year. Also, for me, my ATAR means nothing, so long as it gets me into the course I want. Whether I get 94.5, or 99.95 makes no difference to me.

Also, VCE may be a competition, but the biggest competition is yourself. As a person, you should always aim to be different today, to the person you were yesterday. Not everyone has the ability to get 90+, or 45+ in English, or whatever, but today's persuasive topic was about success, and if you really base success on a 4 digits, then I'd really love to read what you wrote.

No, and frankly I don't give a damn.
All I see is a misogynistic and hateful comment.
And frankly, I hope the personal information in your profile is fake, or else your future employer will not be impressed.
