Goddamn studying for commerce subjects are so much easier than science subjects.

24 lectures and 10-20 pages per lecture for commerce.

36 lectures and 50+ pages per lecture; 2-3 times more learning material per each lecture.

So not fair....
Depends what commerce subject it is :P But yeah generally there's less work to be done with commerce :P
Wow that's a lot to cover in 1 lecture :O Seems pretty intense!

How's everyone's study going??
I'm trying to review everything for every subject before tonight - by writing/typing summary notes, then hopefully get started with the tutorial questions/exam questions tomorrow! :) Although there is soooo much to know! I don't even remember learning half the stuff... hahaha

I think the highest was 81 pages. And trust me it wasn't just easy diagrams to skip over; they were like full of descriptive terms :(

I'm only doing microeconomics this year and i actually enjoy revising for that over biology lol.

Haha I found one with about that many pages, I think it was the lecture on linkage

Does anyone know if Principles of Immunology and/or Neurophysiology are recorded, by the way?
Soz for the double post.
Just my 2 cents, but u should maybe check out the NEUR30002 page on facebook, it was very poorly received by students. By that i mean basically everyone was extremely unhappy with the subject and the way it is taught.

How are the people for ICC studying for the exam?

Just going through lectures (some of which I missed due to tute clashes oops) - from the last lecture though it doesn't seem as though the exam Q's will really cover the itty-gritty details of the lectures though? Do you think there'll be application style Q's (like identifying those transcription symbols or something like that in an extract??) or just general content-based questions?? I'm really hoping it's as straightforward as people are making it out to be! :) :)

How are the people for ICC studying for the exam?

Barely have. I have like 6 lectures to go through, not even looking at the ones with the guest lecturers. The questions that were given in the last lecture were extremely straightforward though.

TBH I think it's going probably going to be easy, and a lot of it is common sense.

@yearning for simplicity. They might have application questions, you can never know. I'm thinking they might ask us to analyze something as like an evaluation (or all those other things that compose a narrative).

I was thinking of doing PSYC30020 Psychology of Sleep and Emotions for a breadth next year: https://handbook.unimelb.edu.au/view/2012/PSYC30020

Always wanted to do psychology in VCE but never got the chance so was thinking of doing this subject. Especially when I get to learn the nature of dreams which I have a great fascination for. Understanding facial expressions of emotion like in the TV series Lie To Me is another cool thing :)

What are people's thoughts on this subject?

Also because the lecturers this year are different from last year (I think) we can expect to see changes from last year.  I am just going through the main ideas. I hope it won't be too bad though and not based too much on the readings.

How was the chem 2 exam everyone?

Have no idea how I went.

decently, definitely passed but not going to get the marks needed for a H1 or H2A this sem :\

Which is annoying because I wanted to do honours in chemistry and if I'm already not completely blitzing it, then that sucks.

You might be surprised, I did far better in Chem2 than I did Chem1 and I didn't feel like I had after the exam. I think it's scaled?
