I think that any presentation, as long as it's readable and makes sense, will be fine. This isn't a referencing or layout assignment, they won't get too upset over a picture vs. a table

BIOL10005 people: For E-fly, the bit with the table, how exactly do they want us to do it?  Like, the program asks you to copy and paste it into excel and then the word template is like 'paste your data below'.  So do they want us to /make/ a table in excel, and then copy and paste that into the word template or just screencap it and paste in a picture (like I did, because I am lazy, but it's really small)?  Or do they want to paste it in directly from the program so it's not aligned properly?  Failed instructions, or I didn't read it well enough.

I didn't think this rendered an actual thread.  I'd ask my friends this question, but none of them have started as they are normal, but I want to get rid of this so I can work on my lab report for another subject.  Also I ceebs walking to Redmond Barry from the other side of campus on the day it's actually due.
Think they would accept it to just be copied and pasted? From the program to word?

OMFG!!
_
Today i had the worst Metro debarkle EVER!!! I usually go to university by train (edit: SYDENHAM line REPRESZENTZSZ!!! 8)) and touch on with my myki. When I am on negative balance, i usually just put enough money so that I am above 0 and can touch on again. Today i touched off at North Melbourne station, not thinking too much that because i had just touched off and was now on a negative balance that i was actually going to commit the "Metro Offence" of fare evading. LIKE FFS!!!! So I get onto the 401 bus unbeknownst to the fact that I was going to get the biggest grilling by those metro ticket inspectors.

They asked me why I didn't have a positive balance on my myki. I replied by saying well the 401 bus myki contraptions that you got going here 9 times out of 10 don't work so i didn't think too much of it because i'm going to go home later today and you'll get the rest of my fees for the daily ticket when i touch on, on the way home. They replied by, well that's not a good enough excuse (which I personally thought was the most well-constructed answer to that question that anyone could give, but anyway) that you knew that you didn't have enough funds but you still decided to hop onto the bus anyway. Man at this point i was like so worried that my wallet would get burned that I decided to just play along with this dimwit and autonomously nod my head at everything that he said. I was so humiliated in front of a bus full of people and will probably from this day be the kid who got "OWNED" by metro.

He then had the audacity to say well i'm going to give you the "benefit of the doubt" because you look like a smart kid because you go to university. F***!! metro FFS !!!

So the moral of this story is, make sure you have a positive myki balance even if you are close to 100% sure that the myki machines on those 401 buses will probably not work, because that's fare evading guys.

at about 11 oclock,

they're usually not there when its like peak hour uni times at about 9-10. But those who are blessed with  lovely 10-11am starts should be cautious.

Mate, you wanna talk metro being a bunch of dickwads, i guarantee you it's a shitload worse when you actually get a fine, and not, not for not having a ticket which i did-i always pay for my ticket 100% of the time- but for having my feet on the seats, and not my whole two feet on the seats, but having my brand new, perfectly clean shoes on the edge of the seat. Three inspectors decide they will come up to me and have a go at me while i sit there not sure if i can even get fined for this but sure enough i can. Get slapped with a $178 fine, the exact same fine as if i didn't even have a ticket. No warning, nothing, i didn't even know you could get fined for having you feet on the seats. How is feet on seats as bad as fare evading?

$178 lesson learned: ticket inspectors are a bunch of wannabe cops on a power trip, and now i stand on public transport

Also i have seen ticket inspects waiting at the bus stop at uni before checking tickets when people get off the bus....

This is completely true, even without the sarcasm. Sorry, but if you're going to travel on public transport then you need to have money on your card right then, not 6 hours later.

You would think this but then they're all out of whack so you can't read them.  I think I will just keep my shitty screencaps.

PS: That's why I don't use myki.

Well i don't dispute that, but given the circumstances that the myki machines hardly ever works (not exaggerating, like it literally never works..) when I go onto the 401 buses. I would think that my frustrations towards the matter would be understandable that after a while people would stop gauging their funds and making sure that they've added enough money to make their balance positive. In my opinion, having paid for my train ride from home to uni I do believe in my eyes that it does carry over for the bus ride as well as its within the two hours and had I had positive funds, it wouldn't effect my funds anyway. So technically i don't think that's fare evading (in my eyes). I mean I'm happy to touch on and off even if its meaningless in the end, but if they are going to enforce the act of touching on and off on the 401 buses then they themselves should ensure that those machines are operational. That's all i'm saying. And i think having checked that i had touched off for the train, that they knew, that there was merit in my argument, that's why they didn't give me a fine, even though they very well could of.

Then why don't I use metcards? Because it works out cheaper with myki.
