I have no idea what tecnique I can use here:
“Your problem, Werner,” says Frederick, “is that you still believe you own your life.”
Any ideas or suggestions?

You could simply use dialogue as a technique if you like. Depending on what you're discussing, you could say that it is also characterisation of Frederick.

I know this isn't anything fancy, but I hope it helps. :) Sometimes simple is the best way to go!
