Defs! Honestly, all ATAR Notes meet-ups are super welcoming no matter what type of person you are, or how outgoing/shy. :)

DF is easy to get to!! The train station is literally a two minute walk from it. Where else were you thinking?

What are your guy's thoughts on the Jackbox party pack games? If people are interested I could bring them along for us to play :)

Does AN have an NSW accommodating place like VCE? :o I'm definitely am up for the idea of changing! Sitting in the sun for a couple hours doesn't do well for my skin or head :P

Keen to see lots of you there  8) The 27th is the best day for me so hopefully it'll be that one. I'm happy to bring Exploding Kittens if we were up for another card game (though Uno is a must!)  :)

Also open to going anywhere for the meetup (DF seems to be a classic but my first meetup was last year so I'm not as attached to it  ::) )

Think I’ll call it for Friday the 27th at this point (unless there’s any huge objections), around 11-3 (but come and leave whenever you want).

I’m cool to go to the DF for the meetup mainly because it’s so close to the station but if anyone has any other ideas please post.

I’ll try to bring food. Does anyone have any allergies?

Otherwise, who’s coming?? Really keen to see everyone!! :D

At the very least a new garden tbh. Just tired from seeing the same scenery each time now. But indoors did sound like a good idea.

Can't we do an activity or something for once, like bowling or laser tag even if I'm rubbish at both? (Or alternatively go to a restaurant or something.)

(Tbh I think I just want a refreshing change lol. I get that DF is convenient but like, we're always going there. It's lost its touch now for me completely.)

I can't do the 27th since I'll be out the country by then. But if the 27th is the most popular day, then do the meetup on that day! Have fun guys ;D ;D

Suggestions for new place (outdoors)
- Royal Botanical Gardens (near Circular Quay + Martin Place stations)
- Tumbalong Park/Darling Quarter
- The Domain (near Circular Quay + Martin Place stations)
- Barangaroo Reserve (near Wynyard)
- Bradfield Park (near Milsons Point station)

Other suggestions: You guys can try that new place Darling Square if you want to grab some food. Market City has an arcade. There's Holey Moley (mini golf) in Newtown. Strike Bowling at King Street Wharf.

Love these suggestions  :o Can second that the Botanical Gardens is a solid change of scenery worth considering but I'd also be up for bowling! Will see you all regardless of where we end up going on the 27th  ;D

Only thing about doing something like bowling is that it introduces money into it which could make the event less accessible.

I completely 100% with this! Surely there must be another indoor activity that doesn't involve a whole lot of money and/or doing physical stuff (meet ups are meant to be about getting to know people from the forums, not coughing your lungs out after an eight year old shoots you in a game of laser tag)

However, the DF is still the most accessible location compared to the other outdoor locations I suggested above. Yes you may go to those ones but when you think about it- the DF is a minute walk away from St. James station. Less swaps = more money you get to save on your Opal. Not everyone is familiar with Sydney's CBD so I still believe the DF is a good location to have the meetup.

But just do whatever feels right. At the end of the day, the meetup should be about bonding and making new friendships :)
