A little message to anyone receiving results

Hey there!

Congratulations on completing one or more Year 12 subjects this year (and your final year of high school, if that's you)! We are so proud of you :)

You sat those exams and assessments, which is a mere achievement, regardless of how you did in them. All this time, you've been hiking up a rocky mountain, that is school, with some rough terrain and weather conditions along the way. Go you!

You have reached a destination. The effort and strength you used to climb that mountain is admirable. (Who knows, you might have ended up with the neat bonus of some strong biceps too.) 💪

If you have ended up at a destination you are not happy with, that does not undermine your effort at all.

Exam and test scores and ATARs only measure a teeny tiny picture of you, not your life successes, challenges and circumstances, please remember that. Those examiners don't know that you can paint a beautiful picture whether that's using paint, words, or any other medium.

You can get to where you want to be, even without a certain score or ATAR, so don't give up hope.

It's okay to feel disappointed after receiving results that you aren't happy with. It's okay to cry, to vent. Take all the time you need. And when you're feeling ready, go out there and chase your dreams.

We are here for you, no matter what your results are. You are rad. 💙
