Double Major in Bachelor of Science/Commerce

Hello,

If I were to study the double degree with commerce and science, would I be able to double major or double major and minor in both degrees? I will be looking at studying economics and finance, as well as any of the mathematics and physics.

Thanks!

Here's the course map for that degree to get an idea of the timeline. From that and the specific majors/ minors you're after, you'll find out that you can only complete two majors (one of Science and Commerce each) and one science minor in total (pretty sure it'll be OK for science, but maybe not a second Commerce minor, depending on prerequisite units). The reason why is because there's:
- one compulsory unit in the Science degree (leaving you with 7 remaining units, not enough for the 8 units required for a second Science major)
- 6 compulsory units for BComm/Sci students for the Commerce degree at Monash (leaving you with 2 remaining units after the first major, due to requirements of the double degree, which is not enough for units to get a major or minor in the other area).

Hope that helps, even if it wasn't what you wanted to hear.
