Super simple question but can i use first person in a discursive ?

Yes, creative writing (such as a discursive) can be in any form you like and from any perspective, so write it however you want to, just make it engaging!

The best discursive pieces use first person and include engaging personal anecdotes. Definitely recommend it!

Hey, aliceinwonderland_!

Great question! Both Grace0702 and infinityandbeyond are right in that you're more than welcome to use first person in a discursive piece of writing  :) I would also add that it could make a potential creative choice you could highlight in the reflection if you're asked to write one. This could give you the opportunity to justify it as a means to engage audiences using a more personal approach and you could then use techniques that illustrate voice (tone, modality and first person pronouns) to evidence it.
