With the reconstructive nature of memory, is it only relevant that we know how it can easily be manipulated by misleading/leading questions or we need to know about how expectations of the individual (which is derived from past experience and information about the event presented elsewhere) also influence memory reconstruction. Essentially, do we need to know about other factors that may influence it?
what do you guys think?

well...it doesn't hurt to have a couple of examples on hand from external sources and previous experience during memory reconstruction - like TV, internet, radio (personal experience); police identification line-ups (external sources).
