Hey, I go to a select entry school so my cohort is strong. I got the results of my first SAC back and I was really disappointed. I was expecting an A+ and working towards 100%. I worked so hard and only ended up with 83% (low A). How hard will it be for me to get a 40+ SS and is a 45+ SS still possible?
Hey zuleika,
Sorry to hear about the SAC result. Whilst 85% is objectively high, I know that won't be much consolation right now. When you work really hard toward a goal and then don't achieve it - well, I know how it feels.
On the plus side, 45+ is absolutely still achievable! Where was it that you fell down on the SAC (that is, where did you lose your marks?)? Silly mistakes? Missed content? The good thing with Further is that you have a lot of opportunities to improve. I mean, the exams collectively make up the majority of your study score, so it's definitely note the case that this one SAC result will hugely stuff up your study score aims.
Keep working hard, and it'll work out!
