Title: What's your at home schedule look like?
Post by: sweetiepi on April 27, 2020, 11:59:53 am
I want to know what your at home schedules look like at the mo!

For my primary-school aged siblings it typically goes
9am-11am: literacy activities (reading and writing)
11am-11:30am: "break"
11:30am-12:30pm: numeracy
12:30pm-1:30pm: free activity (integrated studies)
(This obviously changes a little if there's art, PE, Japanese, or music in the schedule too)

For me it typically goes:
8:30am-9am: breakfast and set up my old laptop for one sibling's school day
9am-11am: read papers whilst watching my siblings do schoolwork
11am-11:30am: tea #1
11:30am-12:30pm: read more papers
12:30pm-1pm: lunch
1pm-5:30pm: do my other research activities (proposal, planning experiments)

@insanipi
For my siblings (aged 5 and 6) its
9am - scream and complain about doing school stuff
9:30am - my parents that are teachers try and get them to do work
9:45am - everyone gives up, and my siblings watch tv
1pm - go annoy someone who is in a video call
2pm - complain really loudly that they are still hungry after lunch
2:15pm - eat more food
2:20pm - LETS WATCH TV SO LOUD YOU CANT HEAR YOURSELF THINK
15:30pm - more watching tv

I have edited my outside-of-work hours to more accurately reflect my schedule under isolation
