I think the BOM in Canberra is broken.
On Saturday the weather for today was supposed to be 50% chance of rain and 1-10ml
On Sunday it predicted it would be 80% chance of rain and 5-15ml and a possible storm

There was some lightning last night, no signs of a storm today and according to the BOM there has been 0.0ml of rain since 9am (...except that's not true because I've seen a few drops).

But it's finally cold for the first time in weeks so I don't really mind.

The weather around Sydney and the outer regions was very weird today. First, it was really hot and sunny in the morning, then suddenly a storm appeared out of nowhere and was quite ferocious. It consisted of lightning, rain and very strong winds! :o

Hopefully all of the weather around the country gets better! ;D

Yeah, although the weather yesterday was actually quite nice.

yeah for sure, solid 25 degrees where you can actually walk outside and enjoy the weather, unlike today where the sun is just murdering anything underneath it.

Edit: Although I am grateful I'm not in NSW because those bushfires seem crazy. Hope everyone gets safely away from those fires.
R.I.P those two firefighters as well.

I'm a bit sick of temperature records being broken all the time.  Not keen to see what January is like given the November & December we've had.

Maybe I can escape to the ocean for a while next month

I've looked up the weather predictions for some areas in rural NSW and there's 50%-80% chance of rain which is great!!
So so tragic that the two firefighters passed away. Hoping the fire services get more funding especially with mid summer approaching very soon.

The air quality up here is averaging around 20X worse than yours 😂 (although it’s actually the best it’s been in weeks atm).
