Is a good ATAR still possible??

I’ve done really badly all year and I don’t know if there’s still a point in trying since I know HSC is 50% of my mark.

I’ve gotten around 30% overall more or less in all my subjects :((

Subjects ; ancient, modern, standard eng, genny maths & PDHPE

& if I get around 60/70% in hsc’s, what’s my predicted ATAR?

SOS lacking motivation ! xx

It really depends on your ranks more than anything. I would just focus on doing the best you can for whatever exams you have left and not stress - this will maximise your chances of getting a higher ATAR
HSC 2018: | English Advanced (91) | Extension 1 Maths (93) | Extension 2 Maths (86) | Physics (90) | Chemistry (92) | Studies of Religion 1 (47) |  ATAR: 98.70

2019: B. Eng (Hons) (Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering) / Computer Science @UNSW

Hey!
You're right. The hsc exams count for 50% of your mark, so trying hard to maximise your results now will be really beneficial. So if you got an internal mark of 30/100 in modern, and then got a 70/100 in the exam then that'll give you a hsc mark of around 50! So by doing well in the exams, you can definitely pull your marks up a bit!

So don't sweat it! Literally, the worst thing to do rn is stress, cause that'll make it even worse. So keep your head up high!
You're almost at the end now, just give yourself one final push!!

All the very best with the rest of your exams. Good luck!
You got this!!  ;D
