Does anyone know if you can graph vertical lines on the TI-nspire? i.e. x=1 or 2 or 3... etc

If so, how :P

Wel u cant, But if u want to do it u can just goo 999999999999999999999999(x-1) its pretty much x=1 and when u find points of intersections the answers are very accurate

yeah, but if it could find coordinates in exact form, then it would be even more sexy ...

OMG TRUE! That would be the climax of having a TI-nspire CAS ;) <3

Add in a new point using Menu, Geometry, Points and Lines, Point.
Click anywhere to add the point.
Use contextual menu to add in the coordinates.
Menu, Geometry, Construction, Perpendicular then select the x-axis then the point you just added (it doesn't show the whole line, only a section nearer the point, but it is there). Remember to hit escape to stop the construction process so it doesn't try to add any more perpendiculars (the icon disappears from the top left corner).
Double click the x-coordinate of the point you created and change the value to move the vertical line.
You can use the line to find intersection points with Menu, Geometry, Points and Lines, Intersection Points then click on the line you created and another function you want to find the intersection point of. It will automatically extend the line to where it needs to if you do this.
