mmm idk about that, my teacher said vcaa examiners are dicks and are willing to take marks away wherever possible lol... like in physics u would only get 1/2 marks for answer to a worded question if your answer doesnt include a single piece of specific information, that sometimes it isnt even clear you need to include it, and for methods exam 2 they always take 1 mark away if you make the slightest rounding error, and for economics i know they arbitrarily take marks away sometimes if they dont think your response is high quality enough. so its not unreasonable to think methods examiners might be douchebags when marking exam 1 :/
My spec/physics teacher IS a vcaa marker for the last 30ish years (great teacher), funny enough I did ask him a simmilar question like earlier the day of this original post. It was for a different method I used for a show that method. He explained that the old head examinor used to say to ignore the marking scheme if the student has followed the question (if it says just show that as opposed to show that using reminder theorm) and demonstrated they know what they are doing. Also said that some of them will just follow what the marking scheme says. But for the most part, they are not there to criticize you harshly, the largest protection you have is something called cross marking. Examiners mark an exam without any info on the student, then another random examiner will mark it again and it has to be within one mark of each other, if not then it may get escalated to the head examiner themself, a supreme being of the subject who designed the holy Bible that is the current study design. So don't feel like they are against you or that you are not protected, the worst an examiner will do is follow the marking scheme they r given to a T without any leniance.
also, whyd u dislike my post man, not cool. my -3 net score is already making me sad and, ur literally da same guy i argued with, why lie? smh
and one more thing, why is ur spelling so bad (no offence). like how do u misspell "examiner" as "examinor", "penalize" as "penalise", "lose" as "loose", "balanced" as "balenced", etc. ? at yr 12 i wouldnt think youd, a clear native english speaker, make those mistakes... bit odd (no disrespect intended btw)
Note that I didn't dislike ur original post, cause its a fair question. But u once again r acting both agressive, cocky and ultimately so wrong that you could feature on r/confidentlyincorrect.
Sorry still don't remember what ur on about in regards to physics.
Also being on my phone in the early hours of the morning leads to poor spelling, its an open fourm so not gonna bother double checking my spelling haha. Anyway have a good one.
Anyway don't want to get into any trouble from the mods and I already gave all the info I can, so see ya.
MOD EDIT (insanipi): removed offending post quote.
